Established in 1989, Secured by Design (SBD) is owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and is the corporate title for a group of national police projects focusing on the design and security for new & refurbished homes, commercial premises and car parks as well as the acknowledgement of quality security products and crime prevention projects.

WHAT IS CHAIN REACTION DNA?

 

Chain Reaction DNA is the ultimate deterrent designed to combat crimes such as Forced Entry and Aggravated Burglary. At the same time if activated it assists the Police in the identification of the perpetrators of these crimes using the latest in DNA trace technology.

 

Unlike other door limiters available today it responds proactively if subjected to a determined attack:

 

 First, a high decibel alarm is activated to scare the attacker away and alert neighbours and passers by.

 

 Second, the attacker and their clothes are sprayed with a DNA trace invisible to the eye but detectable by the police authorities under a UV light – a powerful deterrent to the would be burglar and a major aid to prosecution and conviction.
